TANGAIL: A young man and a woman were killed as a bus ran over them at Golchattar area located on east side of Bangabandhu Bridge in Tangail on Sunday (February 16).

The accident happened at 5:30 pm.

A Dhaka-bound bus crushed on two persons while crossing the road. They got killed on the spot. A student ID card and a bag were collected from the site. They are presumed to be students. Details will be given later, Jayed Abdullah Bin Sarwar, sub inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police, told Banglanews. 

Though the bus was seized, driver and helper fled the spot, said SI.
