DHAKA: Awami League former lawmaker Fazilatunnesa Bappy has been put on life support at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as her conditions deteriorated after admission into the hospital on Saturday (December 28).

Fazilatunnesa Bappy was hospitalized on Saturday, because she was suffering from pneumonia. Later, she was sifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICC) for her aggravated respiratory complications. Her conditions still remain unchanged, Chief Professor of ICU Dr. AKM Akhtaruzzaman and chairman of anesthesia department of BSMMU told Banglanews on Sunday (December 29).

Meanwhile, Deputy Attorney General AKM Amin Uddin Manik said that Supreme Court lawyer Fazilatunnesa Bappi had been suffering from respiratory complications, pneumonia and cold for several days. She was put on life support on Sunday after her conditions deteriorated.
