THAKURGAON: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi along Dabri and Bedona border in Haripur upazila of the district early Sunday (December 22).

The deceased was-- identified as Rejabul, 26, son of Badrul Islam—a resident of Amgaon village under Haripur upazila.

The deceased’s father said Rejabul went out of home on Saturday night. He was found bullet-injured in a street close to his residence. He died on way to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital. He was a driver of Mahindra vehicle.

Giving testimony to the incident, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital said Rejabul had received bullets in many places of his body. He died of excessive bleeding. Body was preserved in morgue.
