DHAKA: According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), cyclone Bulbul claimed 12 lives from 8 upazilas.

Of 12 deaths, 11 were killed by tree fall and 1 of cardiac arrest.

Additional Director General of DGHS Professor Dr. AHM Enayet Hossain confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Monday (November 11).

The cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’ totally damaged 9,455 homesteads while 37,820 were partially destroyed at nine upazilas in the Khulna, said officials of District Relief and Disaster Management Office.
