BSF detains Bangladeshi man BSF members

NETROKONA: Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) detained a Bangladeshi man for intruding into their territory via Lengura frontier in Kalmakanda upazila of the district.

The incident occurred near Kawbari frontier pillar-1171on Saturday evening (October 19).

The detainee was-- identified as Sangmang Pru, son of Fremant Haccha—a resident of Kawbari area.

According to locals and Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB), Sangmang Pru went to Indian side to fetch a cow of his relatives. At that time, BSF took him away.

BGB's Langura camp Subedar Abul Kashem told Banglanews: “senior authorities were reported of the incident. Discussion is going on with BSF to bring him back.”
