DHAKA: Bangladesh banned popular online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

According to Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, violence in this game has had a negative impact upon students as allegations have been made for a long time. The decision for banning was taken after consulting with various organizations of the government. 

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of CSCC A.F.M Al Kibria told Banglanews: “We discouraged the game based on the opinions of experts, considering the various negative, technological and psychological impacts.”
