MANIKGANJ:  Two siblings fell into Kaliganga River and drowned while they were playing on bank of the river at Kandapouli area of Manikganj municipality.

The incident happened on Saturday (September 21).

The victims were—Masum, 5, son of Abdur Rahman, of Kandapouli area and Abu Bakkar, 3, son of Aminul Islam Biltu. They were cousins in relation.

Abdur Razzak, ward councilor no-7 of Manikganj municipality, confirmed the incident to Banglanews
