DHAKA: SM Golam Kibria Shamim alias GK Shamim, who was detained on charges of specific extortion and tender manipulation, and his seven body guards have been shifted to Gulshan police station.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) transferred him around 3 pm on Saturday (September 21), Gulshan police station duty officer sub inspector (SI) Md. Sadeq told Banglanews.

RAB detained Jubo League central committee leader SM Golam Kibria Shamim on Friday (September 20).

RAB seized huge amount of money, foreign currency, a firearm, drugs, liquor, and FDR cheque worth Taka 200 crore from his office in Niketan area of the capital on Friday afternoon.
