DHAKA: The committee of newspaper editors' platform Sampadak Parishad has been reformed appointing Daily Star Editor Mahfuz Anam the president and Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam the general secretary.

Sampadak Parishad (Editors' Council) formed the new executive committee in a meeting held at Daily Star Center in Karwan Bazar Sunday (September 15).

The committee will take charge for two years, from October 1. 

In the new committee, Ittefaq Editor Tasmima Hossain has been made vice president, Bonik Barta Editor and Publisher Dewan Hanif Mahmud co general secretary, Samakal Acting Editor Mustafiz Shafi treasurer.

Bhorer Kagoj Editor Shyamal Dutta, Manobjamin Editor Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, Jugantor Acting Editor Saiful Alam and Dainik Azadi Editor MA Malek are the four executive members.
