NARAYANGANJ: Two assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) of Narayanganj Bandar Police Station were withdrawn on allegation of extortion business and adjusted to the police lines Sunday (August 18).

They are-- Aminul and Anwar.

Bandar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam told Banglanews that the withdrawal was made for official investigation.

On Saturday (August 17), a police source was sent to court after accusing him in a case, as he was caught while collecting extortion from a shop in Bandar in guise of a magistrate, added the OC.
