DHAKA: The first return Hajj flight of this year arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday (August 17).
Flight BG3502 of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying 418 pilgrims, landed at the airport at 8:37pm.
Earlier, flight SB808 of Saudi Airlines, carrying 335 pilgrims, arrived around 1:30pm.
Biman Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) Tahera Khandaker confirmed the matter to media.
Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) and Biman officials welcomed the pilgrims.
However, Biman operated 181 flights to carry 66,286 Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia this year.
