FENI: Seven persons were killed and at least 11 others injured as a picnic bus hit a tree beside Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Lemua area of Feni Thursday (August 15).

The accident happened around 7am.

Fire service and police members are working on the spot.

Sources said the seven died on the spot when the Cox's Bazar-bound picnic bus hit the tree after losing control. 

The deceased couldn't be identified immediately.

The injured were taken to Feni Adhunik Sadar Hospital. 

Feni's Mohipal Highway Police Station In-Charge Md Shahjahan Khan confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
