KISHOREGANJ: Two persons were shot to death in a clash between two rival groups in Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj Wednesday (August 14).

They were identified as Furkan, 32 and Sharif, 30, residents of Shyampur Para village.

The clash broke out between the followers of one Faruk Mia and Bakkar Member groups of in Shyampur Para village under Maizchar union, over previous enmity, in the morning.

Bajitpur Police Station Duty Officer Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Russel confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
