 2 Bangladeshis killed in S Africa road accidents

SYLHET: Two youths were killed in separate road accidents in Cape Town of South Africa on Saturday (June 22).

One of the deceased, identified as Hafizur Rahman Sumon, 30, son of late Dr. Shamsul Haque, was from Rakhalganj of South Surma upazila of Sylhet and another youth named as Sajib was from Munshiganj district.

Sumon met with a road accident on Saturday evening. His dead body was kept at Cape Town Hospital morgue. Following legal process, date will be fixed on Monday (June 24) as to when his body will be brought home.

Sumon went to South Africa in 2014. He set up business in Cape Town. He was scheduled to return home before Eid al-Adha.
