CHATTOGRAM: A pickup van driver was killed as the vehicle collided with a bus in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram Thursday (June 20). 

Deceased Md Rony, 23, was son of one Abu Jafar in Udaliya area of Hathazari.

Hathazari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Belal Uddin said the accident happened in Sarket Hat area around 9am.

The pickup driver succumbed to injuries after being sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH). 

The bus and the pickup van were seized, added the OC.
