NATORE: Police recovered the slit-throat body of a farmer in Singra upazila of Natore Wednesday (June 19) morning.

He was killed by miscreants in Pathuria village of the upazila Tuesday (June 18) night. 

Deceased Aser Ali, 55 was son of late Robi Pramanik in Tarai village under Dahiya union.

Singra Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Monirul Islam told Banglanews that the body was sent to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Preparation is in progress to file a case over the incident, he added.
