DHAKA: The UNHCR goodwill ambassador Miyavi has visited Rohingya refugees in Cox's Bazar for the second time.

UNHCR issued a release on Tuesday (June 18).

Miyavi is a Japanese musician, actor and philanthropist.

Miyavi said: “I’m glad to be in Rohingya camp for the second time.  Conditions have improved since my first visit here in 2018.”

He also said: “This time, I’m anxious about their future. They’re too worrying about their future. They want to return home. Rohingyas see mountains far away in Myanmar, but they don’t feel safe to return there.”
