NAOGAON: Two teenage boys were found dead at a jute field near to Isabpur village in Dhamoirhat upazila on Tuesday (June 18). 

The deceased were identified as Jakir Hossian, 14, Emon, 16 of Jikarpur Pashchim Billa village in Joypurhat Sadar.

Jakirul Islam, officer in charge of Dhamoirhat police station, told Banglanews that farmers spotted the bodies lying on the field in the morning and informed police.

Later, a team of police rushed in and recovered the bodies.  

OC Jakirul Islam said that it is initially thought that they were murdered and dumped here. Different parts of their bodies bore multiple injury marks.

The bodies will be sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
