PANCHAGARH: A 15-year-old boy was killed after he was struck by lightning in Boda upazila of Panchagarh Monday (June 17) morning. 

Deceased Raihan Islam was son of one Lutfar Rahman in Holdia Pukur Village of Maidan Dighi area of the upazila. 

The family said that Raihan was struck by lightning when he stepped out of the house around 7am.

He was rushed to Panchagarh Adhunik Sadar Hospital with critical injuries where the physician pronounced him dead.
