12 districts get new DC

DHAKA: The government appointed 12 new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to 12 districts of the country.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order, in this regard, on Sunday (June 16).

They are-- Enamul Habib (Rangpur), Rabbi Mia (Narayanganj), Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman Sarker (Gopalganj), Begum Umme Salma Tanjia (Faridpur), Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir (Gazipur), Begum Kamrun Nahar Siddika (Sirajganj), Begum Shayla Farzana (Munshiganj), Md Showkat Ali (Rajbari), Tapan Kumar Biswas (Bagerhat), Dr Suvash Chandra Biswas (Mymensingh), Md Abdul Awal (Jashore) and Md Tofail Islam (Moulvibazar).

On June 11, new DCs were appointed to 19 districts.
