DHAKA: A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed as his bike hit a roadside pillar after losing control in Wari area of the capital city early Sunday (June 16).

The deceased was identified as Jubayer, son of one Mojibar Rahman from Hare Street area of Wari.

Wari Police Station Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Babu Ram told Banglanews that the youth sustained critical injuries in the accident at Wari Post office alley, around 1am.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to injuries around 2am.

The body was kept at the morgue for an autopsy, added the ASI.
