Train kills 2 teenage brothers in B'baria

BRAHMANBARIA: Two brothers in Brahmanbaria's Ashuganj upazila were crushed to death under the wheels of a train Saturday (June 15) afternoon.

They were identified as Sujan, 14 and Rifat, 13, son of one Murshid Mia in Talshohor area.

A cousin to the deceased, Helal Mia, told Banglanews that the duo were ran over by a train of Subarna Express, while making chit-chat sitting on the rail track in front of their residence near Talshohor Rail Station.

Sujan and Rifat worked at a bag factory in Malitola area of Dhaka.

The bodies were recovered and handed over to the family, said Brahmanbaria Rail Station Police Outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Sanaul Islam.
