DHAKA: Secretary of Technical and Madrasah Education Division of Education Ministry Md Alamgir has been appointed as new secretary of the Election Commission. 

Current EC secretary Helaluddin has been transferred to local government department.

The Ministry of Public Administration has issued separate orders on Sunday (May 26) regarding the reshuffle of four more additional secretary rank officers.

Planning Commission Member (Secretary) Subir Kishore Chowdhury has been appointed as Chairman of Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council.

Chairman of Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (Secretary) Shahin Ahmed Chowdhury has been made the member of the Planning Commission.

Chairman of Land Reform Board (Acting Secretary) Munshi Shahabuddin Ahmed has been made Acting Secretary of Technical and Madrasah Education Division.

Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Ummul Hasna has been appointed Chairman of Land Reform Board.

Commissioner of Dhaka Division (Additional Secretary) KM Ali Azam has been made Acting Secretary of Labor and Employment Ministry.
