DHAKA: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the upcoming Eid journey will be easier and more satisfactory than the past.

He made the comment on his Eid Special Service Review meeting at BRTC conference room in Motijheel on Sunday (May 26).

Obaidul Quader said that the Meghna and Gomti bridges on Dhaka-Chittagong highway have been opened to traffic before the Eid. Now, we hope that commuters from Dhaka will reach Chittagong in four hours.

He said during the Eid, 1,089 BRTC buses would be engaged in passenger transport in the inter-district. Of these, 153 new buses have been added from the Eid journey.
