DHAKA: Foreign Minister AK M Abdul Momen said there will be no matter which political party comes to power in India, the relationship of cooperation with the country will continue. 

“We have amicable relations with all the political parties in that country,” he made the remarks while talking to reporters at the Foreign Ministry on Thursday (May 23).

Dr Momen exchanged views with the representatives of the China Manufacturers Association of Hong Kong at the Foreign Ministry. 

After the meeting, the minister said the political parties whoever came to power in India after the election results, the relations of cooperation will continue. We have good relations with all political parties of India, including BJP, Congress.

Dr. Momen said, “We have good relations with the neighboring country. We also want the stability in the neighboring country. We have close friendships with India. No matter what political party there is in power, the friendship will remain intact.

Even if Narendra Modi comes to power, we will have that relationship, he added.
