NARSINGDI: Two persons were killed after a collision between a truck and a pickup van in Madhabdi upazila of the district.

The accident happened on Dhaka-Sylhet highway around 10 am on Wednesday (May 22).

The victims were identified as pickup van driver Amir Hossen, 35, son of Fazlul Haque, of Baghata area of Narsingdi sadar upazila and Anabil, 24, a salesman of Madhumati bakery of Shibpur upazila.

“Dead bodies, after recovering them, were sent to Narsingdi sadar hospital morgue,” Abu Taher Dewan, officer-in-charge of Madhabdi police station, told Banglanews.
