Give anti-militancy sermon at Jumma prayers: PM Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina speaking through videoconferencing

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged the imams and muezzins to give sermon against the adverse impact of the militancy and terrorism in the khutbas during next Jumma prayers.

The premier said like other religions, Islam doesn’t allow militancy, adding that the Islam is the best religion in the world in view of keeping peace and maintaining humanity.

Sheikh Hasina made the call while opening the first-ever environment friendly and nonstop intercity train ‘Bonolota Express’ on Dhaka-Rajshahi route through video conference from her official residence Ganobhaban on Thursday (April 25).

Condemning terrorism and militancy in the name of religion, Sheikh Hasina said those who carry out such atrocities, what they would get nothing but people’s curse, hatred.

The premier called upon all to stay alert against the terrorism and militancy.
