LALMONIRHAT: Police recovered the body of a young man from a paddy field in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat Tuesday (April 22).

The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 30.

Aditmari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Masud Rana confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Mizanur didn't return home after leaving home in the evening, said police.

Locals saw the body in a paddy field in Mannner Choupati area under Durgapur union in the upazila.

On information, police recovered the body around 11am.

The body was sent to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital for an autopsy.

Mizanur might have choked to death, said police.
