FENI: Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) seized borkas used by the culprits while setting fire on Nusrat Jahan Rafi.

The borkas were recovered, on Saturday (April 20), from Dangi cannel close to Kashmir bazaar in the neighborhood of Sonagazi Islamia Senior Fazil Madrasa in Feni

Earlier, Nur Uddin and Shahdat Hossen Shamim, two of the accused in the case, gave confessional statement to police that five persons had participated in the killing mission.

PIB’s inspector and investigation officer in the case Md. Shah Alom confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Nusrat Jahan Rafi, a female student of the madrasa in Sonagazi upazila of Feni, was set on fire by some masked men, who were clad in borkas, at her madrasa exam center on April 6.

She succumbed to her burn injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on April 10.
