DHAKA: Thailand’s minister for foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai will arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday (April 3) on a two-day visit at the invitation of his Bangladeshi counterpart.
During the tour, Thai Foreign Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen at state guesthouse Meghna on Wednesday evening, said foreign ministry sources.
Both the countries have made preparations to discuss bilateral issues.
After the meeting, Thai Foreign Minister will attend a dinner hosted by the Foreign Minister Dr AK Momen.
During the visit to Dhaka, the Thai Foreign Minister is expected to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Besides, he will hold meetings with different level representatives from government and private organizations.
Earlier in 2017, Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai visited Bangladesh. Besides, Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Dhaka and Chattogram in May last year.
