2 killed over land dispute in Cox’s Bazar

COX’S BAZAR: Two persons were killed during clash centering on land between two groups of people in Pekua upazila of the district.

The clash took place at 12:30 pm on Saturady (February 23).

The deceased were identified as Md. Aziz, 30, son of Md. Jahangir Alam, of ward no-3 of the upazila and Md. Nezam Uddin,40, son of Abdur Rahman,of the same upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Pekua Police Station Zakir Hossain Bhuiyan told Banglanews that 2 persons from the two sides were shot to death.

8 firearms were seized and 10 persons were held, OC said.
