DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the burn victims of Chawkbazar fire at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Saturday (Feb 23) morning. 

She reached the hospital around 10:30am to enquire about the treatment of burn victims and other injured in the fire incident.

At least 67 people were killed and many injured in the fire that broke out at a chemical warehouse in Chawkbazar area of Old Dhaka around 10:45 pm on Wednesday (February 20).

The overnight rescue operation had been conducted under the direct supervision of the Bangladesh premier Sheikh Hasina. She was awake in the whole night and monitored the entire rescue operation, said Dhaka South City Corporation mayor Sayeed Khokon on Thursday (Feb 21) while inspecting the spot.
 
A probe body was formed. Measures will be taken based on their report.
