DHAKA: Fire Service and Civil Defence has formed a 3-member committee to investigate the fire at Chawkbazar in Old Dhaka.

The three members of the committee are Deputy Director of Operation and Maintenance of fire service Dilip Ghosh, DAD Abdul Halim and AD Salahuddin.

At least 70 people were killed in a fire at a chemical warehouse in Chawkbazar area, according to said Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Of injured, 41 were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, while a number of people were reported missing in the incident.
