FM to meet Modi at JCC summit Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen

DHAKA:  Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, in his maiden overseas trip, will hold a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 1st day of the 5th India-Bangladesh Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting on February 7.

Besides, AK Abdul Momen is scheduled to hold a meeting with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on February 8; Delhi diplomatic sources confirmed the matter on Sunday (February 3).

The minister will leave Dhaka for Delhi on February 7.

Preparations are underway to discuss bilateral issues like communication, water, connectivity, security, power, energy, border management, trade and commerce between the two countries at the GCC meeting.

The fourth JCC meeting was held in Delhi in 2017.
