CHATTOGRAM:  A case was filed with Chandgaon Police Station accusing six persons, including wife Tanjila Haque Choudhury Mitu, in connection with death of the doctor Mustafa Murshed Akash.

Besides, 3-4 unidentified persons were also made accused in the case.

Jobeda Khatun, mother of the deceased doctor at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), filed the case on Friday afternoon (February 1).

The accused are- Mitu, 29, who is the wife of the doctor, Mithu’s mother Shamim Sheli, father Anisul Haque Choudhury, sister Sanjila Haque Choudhury Alisha, 21, and Mithu’s two boy friends Uttam Patel and Dr Mahbubul Alam, 28.

Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Additional Deputy Commissioner Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Earlier on Thursday (January 31), Mostafa Morshed Akash committed suicide over family feud in Chandgaon residential area of Chattogram city.

Before committing suicide, Akash shared photos and screenshots of conversations of his wife on his Facebook profile and wrote about her alleged extramarital affairs.
