NARSINGDI: An unidentified young man died after jumping off the roof of a shopping mall in Narsingdi town Thursday (Jan 17) noon.

The incident happened around 12pm.

Police said locals whisked-off the youth to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital after he jumped off the roof of ‘Index Plaza’.

He was pronounced dead by the on-duty physician.

Narsingdi Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mizanur Rahman suspected the incident a suicide.

It will be clear once the autopsy is done, he said.
