DHAKA: A Dhaka Metropolitan court gave transfer order of a case filed under Arms Control Act against SM Golam Kibria Shamim and his seven bodyguards.  

The case was filed with Gulshan Police Station.

Dhaka Metropolitan magistrate Devdas Chandra Odhikari gave this order after charge sheet was produced before the court on Monday (October 28).

According to court sources, the case now will be sent to a judge of the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court. Afterwards, the trial of the case will begin through the formation of allegations.  

RAB detained Jubo League central committee leader SM Golam Kibria Shamim on September 20.

RAB seized a huge amount of money, foreign currency, a firearm, drugs, liquor, and FDR cheque worth Taka 200 crore from his office in Niketan area of the capital.

The seven bodyguards are-- Md Delwar Hossain, Md Murad Hossain, Md Jahidul Islam, Md Shahidul Islam, Md Kamal Hossain, Md Samsad Hossaim and Md Aminul Islam.
