China reported 99 new cases on Saturday (March 7) in an outbreak of the coronavirus. Another 28 deaths were reported in mainland China, where the epidemic has been concentrated.

The updates bring mainland China's totals to 80,651 cases and 3,070 deaths in the 24 hours.

South Korea reported 174 new cases of infection, bringing its total to 6,767. It also confirmed 44 deaths so far as one more dies in last 24 hours. 

In last 24 hours, the USA reported two more death climbing the death toll to 17 with 16 new cases of infection. Besides, Spain, Norway, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador and new Zealand confirmed one case each while Switzerland has two more cases of infection.
 
The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 97 countries and territories around the world and 1 international conveyance (the Diamond Princess cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan). The day is reset after midnight GMT+0. 

With this, the total number of deaths reached 3,497 with 31 new cases in the 24 hours. Some 297 new cases of infection were confirmed, bringing the total to 102,242. Of them 57,624 were recovered.
