Don’t stop movement at any cost: DUCSU VP to BUET students DUCSU VP speaking at the march

DHAKA UNIVERSITY:  Dhaka University students staged a black flag march on the campus demanding exemplary punishment for the killers of BUET student Abrar Fahad.

The march was brought out from Raju Memorial Sculpture, led by Dhaka University Central Students' Union Vice-President Nurul Haque Nur, and preceded towards Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on Wednesday (October 9).

Nurul Haque Nur said: “Not only university administration, all the colleges and universities of the country are governed by government-led administration. People are not being allowed to talk. Whenever students speak a little bit, then it becomes a cause of headache for the dictators, that is why educational institutions need to be built up neutrally”

Leaders of Bangladesh Sadharon Chhatra Odhikar Songrokkhon Parishad participated in the march.

Addressing BUET students, DUCSU VP said: “Don’t stop movement at any cost. It has been observed in the past, administration drive students away mouthing sweet words. Later, no fruit is resulted. Don’t panic. We always stand by you.”

DUCSU VP also put forward the demand to shift Fahad murder case to Speedy Trial Tribunal.
