DHAKA:  The government announced a significant reduction in airfare for the Hajj pilgrims of 2019.

The state-run Biman Bangladesh Airlines reduced the fare of Hajj flight to Tk 1,28,000 per person from 1,38,191.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali told media at the secretariat on Thursday (January 17).

“On behalf of Biman, all the necessary arrangements will be made to make comfortable pilgrimage,” Mahbub Ali said.

Besides, he urged the authorities concerned to use planes of good standards.
