Jaffna Cinema Festival to screen 'Iti, Tomari Dhaka' An scene of 'Iti, Tomari Dhaka (Sincerely Yours, Dhaka)'

DHAKA: Bangladesh’s first anthology film 'Iti, Tomari Dhaka (Sincerely Yours, Dhaka)' will be screened at Jaffna International Cinema Festival that kicked off in Sri Lankan city of Jaffna Tuesday (September 3).

On September 8th, the film will be screened at Majestic Complex, under 'competition' category. Curtain of the seven-day festival will fall on September 9th.

'Iti, Tomari Dhaka' starring Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Sporshia, Iresh Zaker and Shatabdi Wadud, among others, depicts struggling life of Dhaka city's marginal class people and also culture of the Bangladesh capital. 

The film earlier participated in 15 film festivals across the world including Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, Global Cinema Festival in Siliguri of India, Sakhalin Film Festival in Russia and South Asian Film Festival in Singapore. 

The film bagged 'Russian Guild of Film Critics Award' in Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.

Abdullah Al Noor, Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, Golam Kibria Farooki, Mahmudul Islam, Mir Mukarram Hossain, Md Robiul Alam, Tanvir Ahsan, Nuhash Humayun, Rahat Rahman, Syed Saleh Ahmed Sobhan, and Syed Ahmed Shawki jointly made 'Iti, Tomari Dhaka' which is produced by Impress Telefilm Ltd.
