Magnificent batting by Mahidy Hasan Miraz in the 9th wicket partnership with Mustafizur Rahman brought an unbelievable victory for Bangladesh.

As the right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 38 off 39 balls to safeguard Bangladesh to a thrilling one-wicket win over India. 

The first ODI was played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka on Sunday.

Shakib Al Hasan spearheaded an inspired Bangladesh bowling attack with five wickets to knock over India for 186.

KL Rahul managed to keep the visitors in the game, scoring 73 off 70 balls, while his teammates fell at regular intervals at the other end after Bangladesh elected to field to start the three-match series.

Pace bowler Ebadot Hossain played the main supporting role in taking four wickets and wrap up the Indian innings in 41.2 overs.
