BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has been taken to Coronary Care unit (CCU) at the Evercare Hospital in the capital, as she developed breathing issues.

She was taken to CCU of the hospital around 4:00pm on Monday, said BNP chairpersons press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan.

Former prime minister Khaleda Zia, who was tested positive for Covid-19, is suffering from breathing problem.

Khaleda Zia got admitted to Evercare Hospital on 27 April.
