Hundreds of tourists are stuck in Sajek Valley as road connectivity has been disrupted due to a landslide due to heavy rain at Nandaram in Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati today (Oct 5).

According to the locals, the landslide occurred on Tuesday night due to heavy rain in the area. A team of Bangladesh Army is working to make the traffic normal.

Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rumana Akhter confirmed the matter. 

However, no casualties were reported yet, she said.

Army personnel and locals are working together to clear the road and bring the situation under control, the UNO added.
