Bangladesh Meteorological Department today (Sep 14) predicted light to moderate rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
According to the Met office bulletin, light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country."
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 23.8 degree Celsius jointly in Rajarhat and Hatiya, while today's minimum temperature was 31. Degree Celsius in Srimangal.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 121 mm in Chuadanga.
