Police recovered the body of college teacher Khairun Nahar, who married a college student in Gurudaspur upazila of Natore.

The body was recovered from a rented house in Ballaripara area of Natore city on Sunday (Aug 14) morning.  

Natore police station Officer-in-charge (OC) Nasim Ahmed confirmed the matter.

Meanwhile, police have taken her husband Mamun Hossain (22), into custody for questioning.

Mamun, a second-year degree student of NS Govt College, got married to Khairun Nahar, an assistant professor at Gurudaspur Khubjeepur M Haque Degree College, at a Kazi office on December 12 last year after six months of a love affair.
