The District Intelligence Police has arrested two people alleged in the case of an attempt to murder a businessman at Raipura in Narsingdi. 

The arrestees were identified as Sabuj Mia (36) and Manik Molla (42), both a resident of Raipura Purbapara area under Raipura police station.

Narsingdi Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Al Amin disclosed this information at a press conference on Wednesday (August 10) noon.

He said Sabuj publicly fired two rounds of bullets to kill businessman Naeem Mia at Raipura Bazaar in Raipura Purpopara area on Friday evening, due to a dispute over motorcycle parking. The shooting scene was recorded on CCTV footage.

After this incident, businessman Naeem filed a case with Raipura police station. 

Later, police arrested both accused on basis of secret information, along with a gun and 3 rounds of bullets, said ASP Al Amin.
