Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested seven people of the juvenile gang 'Tension Group' including its leader Raisul Islam Shimando from Siddhirganj in Narayanganj.

RAB 11 ASP Rizwan Saeed Ziku disclosed the matter through a press release issued on Sunday noon (August 7).

The arrestees are Raisul Islam Simant (gang leader), son of Shafiqul Islam, Naeem Mia, son of Nazrul Mia, Md. Hasan, son of Al Amin, Parvez Mia, Son of Md. Islam, Abir bin Hakim, son of Abdul Hakim, Md. Rahat, son of Aman Ullah, and Riyadul Islam, son of Nurul Islam. All the detainees are between age 20 and 21.

The elite force also recovered some local arms including knives, 2 iron rods, and steel pipes from their possession.

According to RAB, legal proceedings are being taken against the detainees at Siddhirganj Police Station in Narayanganj.
