Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested a Rohingya man among two at Puthia in Rajshahi for carrying Yaba tablets. 

The arrestees were identified as Habibullah (29), a Rohingya man from Kutupalong Rohingya camp in Ukhia and Raju Ahmed (31) of Puthia. 

They were arrested at Kanthalbaria area in Puthia upazila on Sunday (July 31) at around 12:30 pm for bringing 1000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Ukhia in Cox's Bazar.

The RAB-5 issued a press release in this regard on Monday (August 1) afternoon.

However, Raju brought yaba tablets to Rajshahi for sale. 

A case was filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act with Puthia police station following interrogation.
