Fire at Karnaphuli EPZ

A fire broke out in the water treatment plant of Karnaphuli EPZ around 10 am on Saturday (July 30).

Deputy Assistant Director of Chittagong Fire Service Newton Dash said that two vehicles of EPZ Fire Service went to the spot and brought the fire under control. 

The fire caused a loss of Tk 3 lakh, and goods worth Tk 20 lakh have been recovered, he added.
